looking for Staff Sgt. Dale
Monteith USAF
I was stationed at Camp Guynemer
from 1956 until 1961. I am trying to locate my old sergant from
that time frame. I only know that the outfit was. Det.2, 1141 SPACTRON
at Fountaibleu France. His name is, Staff Sgt Dale Monteith and
wife is Joan, they are both American. If you could possibly help
me or at least give me your opinion if it would be possible to find
them. Thank you Earl Sullivan. (email: esullivan7@neo.rr.com)
Subject Hi David from Jeff

VETERANS WIN FIGHT FOR CARDS - FROM JEFF LESTER.
I guess you have followed the news under this subject matter and
although it is not clear to me at the moment as to how wide the
coverage is but I wonder if you feel its worth someone keeping an
eye on to keep members up to date.
My understanding at present is: "that veterans have won the
fight for cards and that some four million servicemen and women
are to be given veterans cards to ensure they get priority NHS Health
Care".
It was admitted that many former servicemen were lost in the NHS
system and vowed to ensure that every GP was made to record whether
or not a patient had served in the Armed Forces
ID cards should be made available by 2010 with the first cards being
handed to new armed forces leavers in the spring of this year before
being rolled out to the country,s four million service personnel.
