Conques USAF is posted to AAFCE on its inception in 1951. My thanks to
his son, Duane, for allowing us to peer into the life of his family during
those early days.
Also included are photographs and details of the Base Commander at that
time, Colonel Howard Lindsey USAF, my thanks to his sons Bob and Yon for
their help and assistance.
